## Key Components of the Groove:
- **Hi-hats in unison with the bass drum**
- **Hi-hats in unison with the snare**
This creates the normal kind of groove that you would hear. We are all working towards playing the piece **Power Trip**.
### Important Notes:
- This playing example is a **two-bar pattern**.
- Here’s how it will work:
- I will play **two bars**.
- Then, there will be a **whole bar of rest**.
- Following the rest, there will be a **bar of counting**.
- You will then play your **two bars**.
- Afterward, rest for **one bar**.
- We will do another **counting**.
### Sequence Breakdown:

2. **Rest:** 1 bar
3. **Counting:** 1 bar
4. **You play:** 2 bars
5. **Rest:** 1 bar
