# Hip Hop Lesson Part Two

In Hip Hop Part Two, we've really developed some of our hip hop grooves. It's been great to play some more eighth-note based patterns, where:

- The hi-hats are playing consistent eighth notes.
- We're also bringing in some eighth-note bass drums.

We're experimenting with the placement of the snare and adding to our drum fill repertoire. I think this focus has been really beneficial for our progress.

### Drum Fills

We've been incorporating some fills with:

- Eighth notes
- Quarter notes

Some of these fills are placed on the snare, while others are on the hi-hat.

Overall, I believe this has been really good for our development!
