Combine eighth-note snare and bass drum rhythms in this exercise. Build confidence in playing syncopated patterns, preparing for full indie pieces.

## Example Three: Different Combinations

The first bar will remain the same, and then in the second bar, we will introduce:

- Two quarter note bass drums
- Two eighth note snare drums

To count the eighth notes in the run-up to those eighth note snares, follow this pattern:

**Counting:**
- 1, 2, 3, 4
- 1, 2, 3, 4
- 1, 2, 3, 4
- 1, 2, 3, 14
