# Music Lesson Transcript: Example Four

Now in **Example Four**, we're combining some of the ideas we've just learned and also reaching way back into concepts we were working on earlier.

## Key Concepts:

- **Playing Two Snares in a Row**
- **Transitioning to the Hi-Hat**

### New Elements:

- Adding in:
- Eighth note snares
- Quarter note snare
- Quarter note bass drum

After this, we're going back to the hi-hat.

There's a fair bit of movement in this one, and it's preparing us for playing **Big Mouth**, which we will do soon.

**1, 2, 3, 4.**

That example is really interesting—this little extract from **Big Mouth**.

- The guitar is playing a regular pattern throughout.
- We're actually playing in unison with the bass guitar, which is quite unusual.

The bass guitar is sort of taking the lead a little bit, and we're hopefully syncing up with that.

So, it's just a different way of playing that kind of music.
