Tonguing exercise #1
The tongue is like the sax player's equivalent to the violinist's bow. It's what allows you to start notes precicely, to repeat notes quickly and efficiently and to create subtle variations of phrasing. It's also unfortunately one of the most difficult skills to acquire.
