The Swing feel

While the same musical principles apply no matter what you're playing, the feel, or "groove" you put down will vary wildly from one musical genre to the next. Up to this point, we've only dealt with straight 8th rhythms. Now, Let's add swing to our feel arsenal. Swing feel is used in Blues and Jazz quite extensively, so if we 're going to get control of these styles, we'll have to get comfortable with the feel.
