Breathing the notes (in tempo)
Now that we've developed the articulation system, we're learning to breathe the articulation system to get us the notes rather than relying too much on the articulation to get us the notes. We're breathing the notes and the articulation supports what we're doing and gently helps the air do what it was going to do in a legato airstream with a stronger sense of rhythm/groove.
