Welcome to Rockschool Drums Debut Grade: The Pro Perspective

Paul Elliott
Paul is a highly respected drum educator and clinician. At clinics he has performed alongside the likes of Steve Smith, Manu Katche, Simon Phillips and Gary Husband. Top drummers like Phil Selway (Radiohead) and Ash Soan (Adele) also come to Paul for technical advice.
Rich Hawking
Richard Hawking is the powerhouse drummer at the heart of the genre-bending rap-metal band Hacktivist. They have played major festivals including Glastonbury, Download and Somnisphere. The band has supported Korn and Enter Shikari, and recorded a live session for BBC Radio 1 at Maida Vale Studios.
Harry Pope
Harry Pope is a U.K based live and session drummer, specialising in jazz and hip-hop. He is primarily known for his work with award-winning punk-jazz group World Service Project, with whom he has toured internationally.
Pat Levett
Pat is well known on the London rhythm and blues scene as a master of groove drumming. He has performed and recorded with Tom Jones, The James Taylor Quartet, Tim Minchin, The Ronnie Scotts All Stars, and many more.
Yusuf Ahmed
Yusuf is an exciting talent on the London scene, who has proved himself a polyrhythmic master playing with artists such as Adedeji Adetayo, Zoe Rahman, Martin Speake, and many more.
Pete Riley
Pete Riley is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading educators in modern music. His drumming career has seen him play with the likes of Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats), Republica, Billy Sheehan, Paul Glibert & Keith Emerson, to name but a few.
Stu Roberts
Stu Roberts is a freelance drummer who has just finished touring with Take That’s ‘The Band’. As well as performing with Take That and Lulu as part of the promotion for the show, Stu has held chairs in many West End theatre shows including ‘Spamalot’, ‘Jersey Boys’ and ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
